 Only your imagination sets the limits - so bring your family and enjoy a day of fun
together!

2011 is a very special day; on this day the children celebrate
their very own carnival. A parade through the city, colorful, dressed up
children and their parents forms the scene of the Children's Carnival.
The Children's Carnival Parade starts at 12am at C. W.
Obels Plads From there, about 5,000 dressed up children and
their parents march along the parade route to the
city park, Kildeparken. To this spectacular occasion,
Kildeparken is transformed into a wonderful universe full of song,
music and magic, offering a wide range of
entertainment and activities and a playful atmosphere for the children. On this day, the park turns into a
fantasy land for children of all ages - a land of magic and bubbling
joy.
The celebration in Kildeparken begins right after the parade
at about 12.30pm and continues until 3pm.
Admission 30 Dkr. Children under the age of 3 is free.

Nicklas and his dancers
Since winning the Children's Song Contest in 2009 with the song "Fyr den af", Nicklas has climbed one way - and that is up! He provides a great show for both children and young teenagers, and with his show, the party is on!

The Flying Suitcase-circus
Who knows what the crazy entertainers from "The Flying Suitcase-circus" will do, when hosting the Children's Carnival? Look forward to being entertained with all the fun of the fair and circus-tricks when Søren and Jørgen lead you through the shows on Big Scene. But be careful - you might end up being part of them...

Dance - Dance- Dance
There will be plenty of dancing on stage when two of leading dancing academies in Aalborg puts on their show. Students of the dancestudio "Move"perform various types of dancing, and the studio "Danseaction" delievers a show filled with princes and princesses! |

Safari Simon
Through the past three years, Safari Simon has performed with his Safari-show in Aalborg Zoo. The speedy lines and ventriloquizling forms an amazing show.
Aunt Andante
Aunt Andante loves music and telling about her crazy friends, Rabalder-Helge, the Candy-animal, Kvinkelink-birdie Ash-fish, Charles and Charlotte. Through songs and story-telling by Benedicte Riss and Halfdan Rasmussen, she turns things up-side-down, so all you kan do is give in and laugh out loud.

Jump around!
Find your inner bounce, because this year there will be a huge bouncy-houses in Kildeparken - to all sizes and ages. The theme is beach and sea, so jump around with the sea horse, or dance with the starfish - only your imagination is the limit! So climb the tower to see the view of the park or slide down the chute.

Notebox
- Food and beverages are sold in Kildeparken. It is
allowed to bring a picnic basket with food to the park, but NOT
beverages.
- First aid personnel is present in the park at all times.
- Information regarding the event is obtainable from the
info boards located by the entrances and from
the information stand in the centre of the park.
- The official carnival poster is sold from the
information stand.
