The grand parade peaks in the city park, Kildeparken, in a large party with more than 20.000 happy carnivalists. Kildeparken has everything one’s heart could ever desire of music experiences; salsa, disco, pop, rock, afro, reggae and samba will fill Kildeparken on this exceptional saturday in May. Besides the music, Kildeparken also offers a range of thematisedbar areas, where you can let yourself loose in company with bunnies, mafia bosses, princes and princesses. At the “Speedwedding” ceremony marquee in Kildeparken you can get married to your chosen one – or maybe the person who stands behind you. The party in Kildeparken starts at 11.30 am and ends with a spectacular firework at 11.30 pm.

Tickets in advance can be bought with advantage. Please find more information about buying tickets in advance from medio April.

Notebox
- There is no age limit at the Party in
Kildeparken, but alcohol will not be sold to persons
under the age
of 18.
- Please have money ready when entering the park.
- If you leave the park, DO NOT forget to get a
stamp on your hand-it will then only cost 20 DKK

- Food and beverages are sold within the park.
It is NOT ALLOWED to bring neither food nor beverages
into the park. When buying items at the Party, you support both local
clubs and the carnival
association.

- First aide personnel is present in the park.
- Information regarding the event is obtainable from the
info boards located by the entrances and from the
information stand in the centre of the park.

Samba Green – Main Stage
The Samba Green, main stage, presents a number of popular Danish artists and they will assure you a great party. First artist is now announced, and look forward to the announcement of further artists for this year’s carnival.
Ida Corr
Danish-Gambian singer/songwriter is currently getting airplay with her newest single “Under the Sun” feat. Shaggy. Ida Corr got her international breakthrough in 2007 with the remix of the single “Let me Think About It” from the album “Robosoul”, which was a major hit in England and the USA to name a few. From a child Ida was crazy with music and when she was 11 years old, she won Children’s MGP with her band “Årgang 77”. In 2005 she released her first solo album; “Street Diva”. In January 2009 she was given the desired EBBA award (European Border Breakers Award) for the great success she has attained in Europe with her latest album “One”.

Battle of Carnival Bands 2010 - final show
At the final show of the Battle, the top five carnival groups from Friday’s contest compete for the title “Best Carnival Group of the Year”. You will experience international carnival performance of high quality! The show ends by the winning carnival group is announced and they get the price presented by the King of Carnival.

On the Calypso Lawn there
will be Salsa Day. The international latin inspired DJ's, Trio Latino,
Little Havana and a number of professional carnival groups will perform. The Calypso Lawn will bubble with energy and hot latin rhytms within a carnival atmosphere, which calls to the street carnival in Bahia in Brazil, when everybody - musicians, carnival groups and happy carnivalists - let their hair down to a big party that lasts all day. DJ Klandestino is compare to Carnival´s Salsa Day.

DJ Sergio
DJ Sergio is originally from Cali in Columbia which is told to be the salsa capital of South Amarica. Since the mid nineties DJ Sergio has been an institution in the latin night life in Copenhagen, where he for instance has performed in Club Mambo, Colombus, Banarepublikken and Sabor Latino. He plays a mix of salsa, brazil, reggaeton and bachata.
DJ Jesus
DJ Jesus has through many years been one of Southern Sweden's hottest latin DJ's. He is from Columbian and he also played at Carnival in Aalborg the last 2 years.
DJ Klandestino
DJ Klandestino from Copenhagen has through many years been touring all over Europe. DJ Klandestino mixes latin and soul from Russia in the east to England in the vest. This is the fourth time that he plays at Carnival in Aalborg.
