Spectators
Enjoy the grand opening of the international
parade, experience different carnival traditions and be
impressed by
great
costumes and rhythms from different corners of the world!
The Grand Parade starts at 10.30 am at Østerågade and
is opened by various international carnival groups, followed
by thousands of dressed up carnivalists who
participate in the Grand Parade and by music wagons that
provide the appropriate music in the parade.
The Grand Parade proceeds through the centre of Aalborg to the city
park, Kildeparken, where the carnival celebration "Party
in Kildeparken"
continues until midnight.
Participants
Participate in Northern Europes largest carnival! Everyone can participate, just
join in.
Show your ideas and your imaginative
costume to other participants and to thousands of spectators
along the parade route. Enjoy entertaining thousands of people
on the biggest stage ever, namely the street, and have fun being a
part of the largest carnival in Northern Europe!
At each parade part,
there are music wagons that provide for the right tunes and
contribute to a vibrating atmosphere in the parade!
REMEMBER: No shopping trolleys
in the parade!
