The 24th
of May is a very special day - on this day the children celebrate
their very own carnival. A parade through the city with dressed up
children and their parents launches The Childrens Carnival.
The Children's Carnival Parade starts at 12pm at C. W.
Obels Plads. From there, about 5,000 dressed up children and
their parents march along the parade route to the
city park, Kildeparken. In this occasion,
Kildeparken is transformed into a wonderful universe full of singing,
music and magic, and offers a wide range of
entertainment and activities. On this day, the city park turns into a
kingdom for children of all ages - a kingdom of magic and bubbling
joy.
The celebration in Kildeparken starts right after the parade
at about 12.30pm and continues until 3pm. Admission to
Kildeparken is 30 DKK. You can see the detailed

Children’s Carnival offers the whole family a joyful
and entertaining day. So bring your family and enjoy a day of fun
together!

Notebox
- Food and beverages are sold in Kildeparken. It is
allowed to bring a picnic basket into the park, but not
beverages.
- First aide personnel is present in the park.
- Information regarding the event is obtainable from the
info boards located by the entrances and from
the information stand in the centre of the park.
- The official carnival poster is sold from the
information stand.
