Saturday, 24th of May
2008
midday to midnight
The Party in the city park, Kildeparken starts right after
the Grand Parade (the park opens at 11.30am). The parade moves through the streets of Aalborg and ends
up in Kildeparken where the festivities reach
their climax and the biggest and colourful party of the year
takes place!
A diversified entertainment programme contributes to a festive
atmosphere. The park is transformed into a giant festival area where
happy and dressed up people enjoy entertainment that stretches from competitions
to dance and music from four different stages. Rock, pop,
afro, reggae, samba and the latest disco vibes
enchant the park.
Moreover, you can enjoy drinks with
pirates, princesses and fantasy figures in different theme bars. The
party continues until 11.30pm where an amazing and colourfull fireworks show
symbolises the end of Aalborg Carnival 2008 and raises the
expectations for next year's carnival.
