Is it allowed to bring food and drinks into Kildeparken?
No, it is not allowed to bring neither food nor drinks in
Kildeparken, neither during the evening of Battle of Carnival Bands
nor during the party in Kildeparken after the Grand Parade.
However, it is allowed to bring food into the park during Children’s
Carnival.

Why can
I not leave Kildeparken without having to pay for entrance again if
I want to re-enter the park?
As the carnival’s existence depends on the earnings
from the beer sale. Free entrance has been prohibited to prevent
people from buying their drinks outside the park. Therefore don't
forget to get a stamp on your hand when you leave the park, so you
only have to pay 20 DKK to re-enter the festival area.
3. How old should I be to enter Kildeparken?
There is no age limit at the party in Kildeparken, but
alcohols will not be sold to persons under the age of 18.
4. Is Kildeparken passable for disabled persons?
Handicap toilets are placed around the park. In dry weather the park
is passable for disabled persons but in bad weather, such as heavy
rain, the park is not easily passable.
Moreover, regardless of the weather conditions, disabled persons
should be aware that Kildeparken is very crowded
during the party for which reason it can be difficult to make your way around.
5. Are dogs allowed in Kildeparken?
Only guide dogs are allowed in Kildeparken during the carnival
party.
6. Are there any cash dispensers in Kildeparken? /
Can I pay with credit card in Kildeparken?
There are no cash dispensers in Kildeparken but you can find one
close to the park, just opposite to the train station.
You can pay with credit card in Kildeparken but NOT at the entrance
to pay admission!
7. What currencies are accepted in Kildeparken?
Only Danish kroner will be accepted in Kildeparken.
8.
Are there any
limitations as to what I can wear in the Grand Parade?
It's almost just
your imagination that limits your costume. However, political or
commercial marketing via e.g. banners is not allowed. Moreover, the carnival follows
the Danish laws in force and these should - of course - be followed.
9.
How old should I
be to participate in the Grand Parade?
There
is no age limit in the Grand Parade.
10. How do I join the Grand Parade?
The Grand Parade consists of professional, registered carnival
groups as well as of thousands of carnivalists that feel like taking
part in the parade. It only requires enrolment if you join the
parade as professional carnival group. For everyone else, the parade
is open and does not require any registration. All you have to do is
to show up at one of the three starting points!

Teenager's Carnival is an event for 13-18 year
olds, it is an event especially for youngsters.
