| It is easy to go to the Carnival Aalborg using public transportation: the bus- and train station
is located right next to the Garden Party
in Kildenparken, and the airport is located only 7 kilometers from midtown - with direct bus lines.
It is easy to get to
Aalborg by both train, flight, bus or ferry. There are frequent
flights every day from Copenhagen to Aalborg and Aalborg airport is
situated only 7 kilometers from the city centre.
The Intercity train runs between Aalborg and Copenhagen every hour
and ferry connections from the rest of Scandinavia arrive at
Hirtshals, Hanstholm or Frederikshavn, which is less than an hour
away. From Norther Jutland you can find either trains or busses both to and from Aalborg frequently. Arriving from the German border, it is only 275 kilometers to get to
Aalborg by highway.

DSB Eventticket
Buy you ticket in advance, and avoid waiting on you way home.
To make room for all the carnevalists, DSB increases the number of seat available on all trains going to and from Aalborg on Saturday, May 28th.
The atmosphere on the trains is very special this day in May - the air is filled with carnival and people ready to party and have a good time. There will not be seating for everybody, but having a good time does not require seating...
DSB gives a 20% discount on you train ticket when buying the Eventticket. The ticket works as a dobbelt ticket (going to and from Aalborg), but it is not valid as a bus ticket. The Eventtickets are only sold in operated ticket stands.

NT Eventticket
Buy your bus ticket to the Carnival in Aalborg using your cell phone, and travel from all over Northern Jutland to the Carnival in Aalborg for only 20 Dkr.
All you have to do is text 'KARNEVAL', send it to 1271, and answer the following text with 'JA'. Afterwards you are able to travel from all over Northern Jutland to Aalborg using the NT-buses, the Skagen Railway and Railways of Northern Jutland to the Carnival in Aalborg.
NOTE! The ticket can only be bought on May 28th, 2011, and is valid for 2 hours after purchase. Going home at night, you are able to buy a ticket using the same principles.
