Aalborg Carnival works together with carnivals from Hamburg "Altonale Spaßparade" and "Luton International Canival" (London)  on developing mobile carnival art in Europe. The project is funded with support from the EU Culture Programme 2007-2013.

The project will take place 2010-2012, and it was opened by a workshop in Hamburg in October 2009, where the participants were international respected costume designers, mask artists, choreographers and others from the tree diffenrent countries.
